TRANSPORTATION TO TARTU
FROM TALLINN, ESTONIA (LENNART MERI AIRPORT)
BY BUS
We recommend using Lux Express buses that go directly from Tallinn Airport to Tartu Bus Station.
The bus stop is located at the northern exit of the airport. Lux Express buses go every 30 or 60 minutes, depending on time of day. Travel time 2.5 hours. Due to concurrent events it is strongly recommended to prebook the tickets via website: https://www.tpilet.ee/en/
BY TRAIN
The train to Tartu leaves from Tallinn Baltic Station. To get there, one can opt for a tram (number 2) that leaves from near the northern exit of the airport (travel time 45 minutes), a bus (number 2) that leaves from a bus stop in front of the airport parking facility (travel time 25 minutes), or a taxi that can be hired from the front of the airport near the main exit. Tram and bus tickets can be bought via a touchless bank card transaction at the front entrance of the vehicle.

FROM RIGA, LATVIA (RIGA AIRPORT)
BY BUS
We recommend using Lux Express buses that go from Riga Bus Station to Tartu Coach Station. To get there, you can catch a bus (number 22) from Lidosta “Riga” stop that is located at the airport, and ride to the Autoosta (Central Bus Station, Central Railway Station) stop. Tickets can be bought from the driver via a touchless bank card transaction. Alternatively, you can opt for a taxi. Lux Express Riga to Tartu travel time is about 4 hours, but please ensure there are buses that suit your plane arrival time. BY CAR
